One year ago, Uma Flowers opened its doors at 196 Bear Hill Road and became Waltham’s very first cannabis dispensary. It was a big deal for the city, and it meant something personal, too.
Owner Priyanka Patel grew up right here in Waltham, so opening a business in her hometown was, in her own words, a dream come true. A year later, we’re still here, still grateful, and ready to celebrate with the community that made it all possible.

One Year in Waltham: A Milestone for Our Dispensary
From the line of smiling faces on opening morning to the regulars who have become part of our daily and weekly routine, this first year has been everything we hoped it would be. Waltham welcomed us warmly from the start, and we’ve worked hard to live up to that trust.
Our quality cannabis products, knowledgeable staff, and just being a place where people feel welcome and comfortable mean the world to us. Being the first dispensary in Waltham is something we take seriously, and this anniversary is as much yours as it is ours.
Special Birthday Deals and Pop-Ups
We’re marking the occasion with special anniversary deals and in-store pop-up events. Details are still coming together, but if you’ve been thinking about stopping by your favorite weed dispensary in Waltham, this is a great time to do it.
Keep an eye on our dispensary page for announcements as they drop, and follow us on social to catch event details before they sell out. And of course, you can always check out our daily specials online to get a head start!
Uma Flowers Waltham 1st Anniversary Party
Mark your calendar: on Saturday, May 23rd, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we’re throwing a full anniversary party at 196 Bear Hill Road…and we want you there!
This is our way of saying thank you, and we’re not holding back. Come through for free pizza, vendor pop-ups, and exclusive in-store discounts you won’t find any other day of the year. There’s more in store, too. It’s a true community celebration, open and welcoming to all the neighbors, regulars, and newcomers who’ve made this first year feel so meaningful. Stop by, browse the menu, grab a slice, and spend the afternoon with us.
Thank you, Waltham. Here’s to year two!
