Your Guide to Memorial Day Weekend in Pepperell

Pepperell is the kind of North Central Massachusetts town where the long weekend actually feels long. No crowds to fight, no traffic to sit in, only the Nashua River Rail Trail, a small-town parade, and the kind of unhurried holiday vibe that the area does better than most. Uma Flowers Dispensary is right here to help you make the most of it.

Things to Do Around Pepperell This Weekend

Nashua River Rail Trail is the outdoor anchor for a Pepperell Memorial Day weekend. The multi-use trail passes through Pepperell, Groton, and Dunstable across 12 miles of paved surface. Flat, accessible, and well-maintained for walking and cycling. It’s the right option for a holiday morning that does not require any planning.

Pepperell Town Forest and the surrounding conservation land have forested trail systems popular with local hikers and nature walkers. For a longer, more wooded option, Groton Town Forest adds an extensive trail network about 10 minutes south.

The Historic Pepperell Common along Main Street is the town’s civic center. For those building a longer weekend itinerary, Lowell, about 30 minutes away, offers the Lowell National Historical Park and the broader Merrimack Valley cultural scene.
